About The Position

The 2nd Shift Warehouse Associate will be primarily responsible for both incoming and outgoing shipments that occur during 2nd shift hours, paperwork, skid tagging, zoning maintenance, product inventory movement, and logs. Completes shipping and receiving tasks, pulls orders as needed for the production or blends teams, and drives the box truck to move materials between buildings as needed. Ensures the smooth operation of all processes in their assigned building, in coordination with the 2nd Shift Operations Manager, and 2nd Shift Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Must have prior knowledge and experience of shipping/receiving, inventory operations of like industry work, power lift & forklift experience, and may have warehouse experience.
  • Ability to work on Saturday occasionally, and any other days and hours as deemed necessary for business and requested by direct supervisor.
  • Professional Box Truck Driving Experience Required
  • Equivalent combinations of education and work experience will be considered.
  • 1-2 years experience in a like-industry position that includes Cycle counts, inventory procedures, and warehouse/ shipping or receiving work.
  • Prior Forklift Certification a plus-will certify on-site, clean, valid & current NYS Driver’s License

  • The employee is often required to stand and use their hands and fingers to handle, feel, or type.
  • The employee is also required to walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • The employee may need to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to Allergens, strong aromas of spice, and particles in the air

Responsibilities

  • Direct incoming shipments which include loading the trucks, accepting UPS shipments, checking in shipments, and processing all documents
  • Inspecting shipments and product returns and notifying supervisors and QC about any discrepancies
  • Processing outgoing shipments as needed based on pick-up times
  • Pulling and preparing orders needed for production or blend teams
  • Logging shipments, tracking numbers, shipment staging, and updating inventory through receiving processes
  • Driving a 26’ box truck between buildings to transport needed materials, whether raw/bulk materials, packaging materials, or finished goods
  • Responsible for supporting the cleanliness and organization of their assigned buildings

  • Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor
