About The Position

The Warehouse Driver is responsible for the daily transport of intercompany
material deliveries between sites.

Requirements

• Skill in effective verbal communication.

• Ability to prioritize tasks based on importance.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept directions on given assignments.
• Ability to pay attention to deadlines and be reliable.
• Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information.
• Ability to drive a 26’ box truck.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to interact with peers and members of other departments in team settings in a professional manner.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One or more years of experience working in a customer service-oriented capacity required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse or delivery driver experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver intercompany materials, packages, and other items between Tolmar facilities.
• Perform temperature controlled and non-temperature controlled transports.
• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver materials.
• Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing materials.
• Support the transportation of samples and materials for all departments.
• Assist with warehouse operations, as needed.
• Load and unload box trucks and other vehicles.
• Use forklift to move pallets and large items from warehouse to trucks.
• Keep accurate records of items shipped and received.
• Participate in required annual hazardous waste training. Hazardous waste involvement may include but is not limited to container and tank management and inspections, generation of hazardous waste as a part of production or sampling processes and transfer of hazardous waste between lab procedure area, satellite accumulation and storage. Respond to spills per the Chemical Spill Procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
