About The Position

Omni-Serv is a fafamily-runmily run business united by its core values and vision. Our company includes businesses that operate in construction and facility maintenance, airport operations, parking, and busing services. We are seeking to add a Warehouse Driver to join our dynamic team.

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subjected to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods due to driving and delivery routes
  • The ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds unassisted
  • Will be required to push and pull objects
  • This position will require heavy lifting and driving a box truck; prior experience is required

Responsibilities

  • Operating a box truck to transport goods and/or materials to various destinations
  • Loading and unloading the truck, which may involve using a forklift or other equipment
  • Completing delivery paperwork, including manifests and bills of lading
  • Communicating with team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients and representing the company in a professional manner
  • Assisting with warehouse operations as needed, such as loading and unloading goods and materials
  • Maintaining the truck and keeping it clean and in good working condition
  • Inspecting the truck before each trip to ensure it is safe to operate
  • Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations and staying current on motor vehicle rules and regulations
  • Participation in company-provided driver training programs is required
  • Report any safety or vehicle deficiencies to management
  • Shipping and receiving
  • Loading and offloading inventory onto and off box trucks
  • Maintain warehouse inventory
  • Utilizing different computer systems to keep track of warehouse inventory
  • Open and re-label boxes with barcodes
  • Driving a box truck to and from the local airport
  • Ensure warehouse reflects professional standards – tidiness contributes to success
  • Occasional night and weekend shifts may be required based on operational needs, including support for deliveries, warehouse operations, or emergency client calls
