About The Position

The Warehouse Driver uses sales, service and education skills to ensure safe delivery, setup and proper use of equipment and supplies to clients/patients of the company. The Warehouse Driver ensures prompt, professional and courteous service at all times, positively representing the company in the community.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of DME experience, preferably with experience in DME logistics, warehousing, inventories and point-of-delivery systems.
  • Experience with logistical (inventory/warehouse) programs, preferably using Brightree and POD systems.
  • Previous delivery experience strongly desired.
  • Strong analytical/decision making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills.
  • Strong computer/software skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Competent in usage of office equipment.
  • Work with minimal supervision and make appropriate judgments.
  • Fluentness in oral/written Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the warehouse including but not limited to the proper disposal, handling, and rotation of all products and supplies.
  • Ensure that the warehouse complies with all general/safety requirements of all governmental agencies and within all company policies/practices.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all packing slips for product received.
  • Label and place product in correct warehouse locations.
  • Assist in the equipment repair process including shipment/delivery of equipment.
  • Clean and maintain equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and company policies.
  • Report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with company policy.
  • Complete all electronic and/or paperwork as required in the delivery of supplies.
  • Maintain delivery/manifest records as required.
  • Perform all Brightree tasks that have been assigned to them.
  • Pursue continuing education programs as required to perform job responsibilities in a professional manner.
  • Comply with all applicable company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of current DME products and services offered by the company.
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of applicable computer and related technology, including POD, inventory tracking and related applications.
  • All other tasks as assigned by manager or designee.
