We are looking for a Warehouse Donation Attendant to play a key role in furthering our vision and mission in our retail area. PURPOSE OF POSITION: To provide assistance in dock area loading, unloading, and moving merchandise. To fulfill mission statement.

Responsibilities

  • Work with individuals who have disabilities and or barriers to employment and participate in the achievement of their goals.
  • Demonstrate a positive, role model.
  • Display commitment and involvement towards Goodwill's mission.
  • Answers donation door greets customer and unloads donations.
  • Sorts donations for in-house storage and loads material for store deliveries.
  • Moves materials in or out of the warehouse and operates trash compactor.
  • Cleans work area.
  • Donation door must be answered in a professional manner and within 10 seconds.
  • Locate unloaded material in proper places in warehouse.
  • To load material for store deliveries and make deliveries.
  • To move materials in or out of warehouse, as required.
  • Move trash to compactor as needed.
  • Cleans dock area during last 7 minutes of workday.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and reports violations.
  • Support mission statement and activities of other departments.
  • Support the accessibility of our services and facilities free of architectural, attitudinal, environmental, financial, communication, transportation, employment and other barriers to person with disabilities and barriers to employment.
  • Adhere to all ethical standard and confidentiality of records.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
