About The Position

The position involves stocking business products accurately, promptly, and safely throughout the warehouse. The role is based in Lithia Springs, GA, with an hourly rate starting at $19.00, increasing to $20.66 after 12 months. Standard work hours are from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm. Essential duties include stocking merchandise received from the manufacturer onto assigned shelves, replenishing shelves as required, and operating RF scanning equipment. Adherence to the Stockroom Housekeeping Policy and safety rules, including handling hazardous materials, is mandatory. The role may also require occasional use of a forklift, for which certification is required. Employees are expected to monitor and report on stocking locations and are encouraged to cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse.

Requirements

• Must be functionally literate and capable of understanding and recognizing product numbers and line codes.
• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to write legibly.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise received from the manufacturer onto assigned shelf.
• Replenish shelves as required.
• Operate RF scanning equipment.
• Adhere to the Stockroom Housekeeping Policy of the facility and specific product line area.
• Maintain accuracy in repetitive routine while ensuring good speed.
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules, including handling hazardous materials.
• Occasionally use a forklift (certification required).
• Monitor and report to supervisor the minimum and/or maximum space requirements of stocking locations.
• Willingness to cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse.
