About The Position

The position involves efficiently and accurately pulling items according to customer orders. The work is located in Tukwila, WA, with an hourly rate starting at $21.45, increasing to $24.88 after one year of employment. Standard work hours are from 1:00 PM until close (9:30 PM) from Monday to Friday, and applicants must be able to work this full schedule. Essential duties include pulling orders, navigating basic computer systems, using voice picking and RF scanning equipment, adhering to safety rules, and maintaining accuracy in a repetitive routine.

Requirements

• Must be functionally literate and capable of understanding product numbers and line codes for proper retrieval of products.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write legibly.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the voice picking system and adapt speech for system understanding.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide by 10's and 100's.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Pull all orders for the customer according to the prescribed picking quota set by management.
• Identify the proper product and quantity, pull the product, and transport it to the checking station.
• Perform basic navigation on the computer.
• Use voice picking and RF scanning equipment as required.
• Adhere to the Stockroom Housekeeping Policy of the facility and specific product line area.
• Maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks while ensuring good speed.
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules, including handling hazardous materials.
