About The Position

The position involves efficiently and accurately pulling items according to customer orders in Lockbourne, OH. The role requires the use of customer-specific systems to process orders, manage inventory, and communicate with management to ensure deadlines are met. Employees will be trained to use various equipment such as stand-up forklifts and powered pallet jacks, and must maintain a clean and safe work environment. Requirements

• Must be functionally literate and capable of understanding product numbers and line codes
• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
• Ability to write legibly and communicate with the voice picking system
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions

Responsibilities

• Process orders from print to load, ensuring target load times are achieved
• Process inbound and outbound shipments
• Manage inventory and cycle counts
• Communicate regularly with Branch and Customer management via email, phone, web-based, and in-person interactions
• Maintain physical and virtual inventory accuracy across multiple platforms
• Use stand-up forklift, reach truck, and/or powered pallet jack to stock, process orders, and load trucks
• Pull all orders for the customer according to the prescribed picking quota
• Identify proper product and quantity, pull the product, and transport it to the checking station
• Use voice picking and RF scanning equipment
• Adhere to the Stockroom Housekeeping Policy and safety rules, including handling hazardous materials
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Benefits

• Starting hourly rate of $20.35/hr up to $22.19/hr after one year
• Multiple shifts available including 12pm to 8:30pm
