About The Position
Legacy Transportation Services – Specialized Logistics Provider Visit us at: www.legacytsi.com Legacy Transportation Services is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Dismantler Associate to join our team in Chicago, IL. This position is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, dismantling, shipping, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will also assist with loading and unloading freight and maintaining an organized, safe work environment.
Requirements
- Forklift operation and safe material handling
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Warehouse operations and inventory tracking (barcode scanners, data entry)
- Attention to detail and quality control
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move freight safely within the warehouse
- Disassembleand recover parts from medical equipment
- Load, unload, and stage materials
- Package, wrap, and protect materials for shipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records using scanners and computer systems
- Inspect, sort, and separate materials for recycling or special handling
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
