About The Position

Leading manufacturer is seeking to fill a Delivery Driver position for its XCal Tools-Madisonville, KY plant. Responsibilities include loading/unloading raw steel materials and finished products including banding and palletizing; perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Team mentality with ability to follow safety and quality procedures
• Dependability to be consistently at work and on time
• Ability to work flexible schedule of 40+ hours per week as required
• Capability to lift heavy items (up to 65lbs)
• Near/far vision; total visual field; repetitive sitting, standing, walking, driving, and/or bending
• Multiple limb coordination

Responsibilities

• Load/unload raw steel materials and finished products including banding and palletizing
• Follow safety and quality procedures
• Be dependable and consistently at work and on time
• Work a flexible schedule of 40+ hours per week as required
• Make deliveries that may be out of normal work hours as needed
• Pull material to fulfill orders properly
• Wrap orders and place them on trucks for delivery
• Monitor inventory levels and suggest new orders when needed
• Document orders, materials and any stock movements
• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients' complaints
• Complete logs and reports
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
