About The Position

7-Eleven Distribution Canada is looking for a Delivery Supervisor in our warehouse operation to support our day-to-day delivery operations. The Delivery Supervisor oversees all warehouse and freight‑dispatch operations during their shift, ensuring the accurate, safe, and timely departure of deliveries. The role provides leadership to drivers and dispatch teams while upholding high standards of service, operational efficiency, safety, and facility maintenance. This position is responsible for staffing oversight, workflow planning, issue resolution, and cross‑department communication to ensure seamless nightly operations. The Delivery Supervisor also ensures compliance with company policies, transportation regulations, safety standards, and customer‑service commitments.

Requirements

  • High School/GED
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Commercial Driver’s License
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, routing, dispatch workflows, and freight handling.
  • Ability to lead a diverse team with strong communication, coaching, and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of transportation and safety regulations relevant to commercial vehicle operation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple time‑sensitive tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, routing systems, warehouse technology, and digital reporting tools.
  • Solid problem‑solving skills with a track record of taking ownership of issues until resolved.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee dispatch operations ensuring timely, accurate departure of all delivery routes.
  • Coordinate stock transfers, shipment scheduling, and carrier arrangements as required.
  • Assist with daily loading of trucks, verifying accuracy against invoices and run sheets.
  • Ensure warehouse and yard are organized, secure, and maintained to company standards.
  • Monitor and maintain levels of necessary warehouse and shipping supplies.
  • Supervise drivers, dispatch staff, and warehouse workers; manage scheduling and staffing levels
  • Maintain a high level of safety awareness in the warehouse and on the road.
  • Hold a valid commercial driver’s license and be available to cover routes as needed.
  • Support basic troubleshooting and coordination of repairs for delivery vehicles
  • Maintain timecards, attendance tracking, and staffing records
  • Contribute to safety initiatives, loss prevention strategies, and efficiency upgrades.
  • Assist with emergent issues, unexpected operational challenges, or after‑hours needs
