About The Position

Responsible for receiving and shipping of all merchandise.

Requirements

• Experienced drivers
• Strong Customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Requires a post offer pre-employment DOT physical.
• Driver’s license that meets job requirements and a motor vehicle driving record that satisfies the requirements of our casualty and liability insurance program. For the state of KS Class-C, MO Class-E & OK Class-D.
• Must be able to obtain forklift safety certificate once hired.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds on an infrequent basis and 25 pounds on a frequent basis.

Responsibilities

• Receives deliveries of stock, including unloading inbound materials.
• Receives returned goods and arranges for special shipping orders of stock and non-stock items.
• Prepares and ships inter-Company transfers.
• Prepares and packages orders for delivery according to customer’s instructions.
• Stocks inventory in proper places in stock bins.
• Alerts manager/and or purchasing dept of discrepancies in inventory counts.
• Alerts manager/purchasing dept of low inventory levels to prevent stockouts.
• Attends training sessions and department meetings as requested.
• Serves as the backup to the delivery driver and the counter sales.
