About The Position

As a warehouse/delivery driver you will be operating various tractor-trailer combinations between company terminals and customer facilities or work sites within the terminal's geographic service area as well as typical warehouse duties.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
• Ability to safely operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Have experienced trailer knowledge – be able to pull back a 24ft Trailer.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining a clean and current driver’s license.
• Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including tractor-trailers, delivery vans, and courier vehicles.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Able to work as a Team.
• Communicate effectively with customers when required.
• Pull orders, Load and unload goods and materials using pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual methods.
• Unload safely when necessary.
• Assist in Warehouse when needed.
• Bend, Kneel and lift as needed to perform various tasks.
• Maintain proper delivery paperwork and ensure it is returned to warehouse after every delivery. Also Maintain accurate records, including mileage, and any incidents or delays.
• Other duties as assigned.
