About The Position
The TMCF Internship Programs provide a fully immersive work experience for students eager to gain practical skills and real-world exposure. Selected participants benefit from comprehensive support, including housing and transportation costs covered by TMCF, ensuring a smooth transition to their internship locations. Additionally, depending on the employer, students may receive extra stipends to further support their internship journey. In partnership with Komar Brands, the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) is excited to announce the 2025 Warehouse Data Analyst Internship, exclusively available to exceptional students enrolled at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Komar Distribution Services, a global leader in logistics solutions, operates state-of-the-art distribution centers equipped with advanced material handling systems for efficient bulk processing, pick-and-pack operations, and inventory replenishment. Komar Brands seeks motivated student leaders to join the Warehouse Data Analyst Internship Program, offering invaluable hands-on experience. Requirements
- TMCF Formatted Resume is Required.
- Rising Junior or Senior undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or Logistics or a related field.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to work independently and in a team environment; have the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Excellent Excel Skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment is a plus(not mandatory).
Responsibilities
- Rotate through warehouse departments to understand workflow, systems, and data usage.
- Work closely with the IT team to gain understanding of the WMS; learn reporting tools and create reports to support management needs.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights; assist teams in researching, understanding, and properly utilizing data assets.
- Assist in developing and maintaining data models, dashboards, and reports to support business decision-making.
- Participate in learning opportunities by attending training sessions and shadowing key team members.
