About The Position

NX Automotive Logistics USA, Inc. (NXAL) Operations Departments operate in a warehouse, or a manufacturing environment and associates are subject to moderate amounts of dust, dirt, and odors, primarily produced by packaging materials and the operation of propane-powered forklifts as well as noise primarily produced by production equipment. Temperatures during the year will vary. Frequently operate a computer, read, write and interact with others in person, over the phone and via other devices. They move about within the facility and may travel to other locations. Highlights/Responsibilities of the Position: Demonstrate a safety-first attitude following all company safety policies. Warehouse Custodian / Janitor must wear all proper Personal Protective Equipment. Follow Custodian SOP and Checklists to maintain clean facilities. Maintain working knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and products to perform various general and detailed cleaning tasks. Demonstrate an “eye for detail” approach to daily/weekly cleaning tasks. Stock and track cleaning supply inventory to assist with supply ordering. Clean and organize supply closets, work carts and other storage areas. Respond to tasks that involve trash, animal wastes (i.e., bird droppings) and human bodily fluids. Report any problems or concerns immediately to leadership. Report suggestions to improve quality/safety within the job. Follow 5s standards and keep a clean and safe working environment in specified area/department. Have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently, squat, stand, walk, twist/bend for 8 hours or more. When necessary, this position may be required to perform other functions to meet the business/customer needs/demands.
