Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 Years of experience in a distribution, manufacturing or industrial warehouse
- 2 Years of experience with an inventory management software program
- Forklift Certification or OSHA approved forklift safety training
- Experience loading and unloading flatbed or LTL freight trucks
- This position requires working rotating shifts as well as scheduled and unscheduled overtime
Nice To Haves
- Remote operated overhead crane experience
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Experience with Oracle ERP software
- Inventory Specialist (CIS) Certification
- Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
Responsibilities
- Assist maintenance and production teams by locating and issuing parts
- Operate forklift and overhead crane to retrieve and put away inventory
- Repackage items in appropriate manner for storage
- Utilize software to document inventory movement
- Perform regular counts of inventory for accuracy
- Initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times
