About The Position

The position involves operating a forklift and meeting unit quality and productivity metrics. The employee is responsible for completing paperwork thoroughly and promptly, accurately loading client merchandise, and acting as the primary contact with clients on-site. They will be available for escalation when necessary and will work as an intermediary for communication between the client and their operations teams and Crane Worldwide network. The employee must escalate all issues with a shipment immediately to the client to ensure prompt resolution, manage all client requests, and follow up to ensure that client needs are met. Additionally, they are responsible for managing client reports and assuring accuracy, along with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals
  • Ability to read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
  • Balances individual responsibilities
  • Consistently at work and on time
  • Must be forklift certified
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Three years related experience preferred
  • Minimum one year industry experience preferred
