About The Position

Deliver supplies to vessels, coordinate all shipping and receiving. Organize and track inventory. Manage and monitor purchasing system, and all other duties as assigned by Shoreside staff.

Requirements

• Experience maintaining tugs and barges preferred.
• Possess mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work with others using courtesy, tact, and good judgment.
• Ability to understand and execute complex oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal or no guidance.
• Ability to work with office staff and vessel crewmembers.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive communications.
• Valid State driver license and clean driving record.
• Obtain First Aid and CPR training within 60 days of hire.
• High School Diploma.
• Valid TWIC card within 45 days of hire. Must be able to read, speak, write, type, enter data into computer systems, and understand English in person, over the telephone and communicate via email.

• Experience maintaining tugs and barges preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run parts and various errands to assist Operations and Engineering.
• Knowledge or willingness to learn the oil transportation and maritime industry.
• Assist in yard facility maintenance.
• Organize and track inventory
• Assist in projects as directed.
• Drive company vehicles and forklifts.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Create and maintain a maintenance program for Centerline Fleet vehicles
