The success of this individual will be measured through the safe and timely unloading, moving, placement and shipping of capital equipment. This will require knowledge and application of machine rigging through the use of fork trucks, straps, bands, chains, dollies and other weight handling gear to move and position heavy loads. Carpentry skills will also be demonstrated through supporting, blocking, framing and custom crating of equipment using a variety of power and hand tools. Performing weight and dimensional calculations is required as well as the ability to convert between US and Metric formats. Other responsibilities include maintaining the accurate and orderly inventory of our machinery and related components, coordination and follow through of all material movements from the warehouse through our manufacturing process, and keeping the warehouse storage and staging areas clean and organized.
