Warehouse Coordinator (Largo, MD) : Responsible for the coordination of the store's on-site activities, managing receipt, stocking, and shipping of products; staging for delivery of client orders; and all purchasing transactions with Trane and local vendors.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Two years of warehouse experience is preferred
  • Forklift experience is a plus
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office & Outlook
  • Organized, detail-oriented, takes initiative, keeps the area and warehouse clean
  • Able to climb ladders to put stock away
  • Regularly required to use hands to operate the computer keyboard, phone, and reach with hands and arms
  • Frequently required to stand for long periods of time, walk, and sit
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Must regularly lift and/ or move up to 25lbs, frequently lift and/ or move up to 50lbs, and occasionally lift and/ or move more than 100lbs with a device

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Staging, shipping, and receiving parts, equipment, and supplies
  • Stock the supply stores with an appropriate amount of merchandise
  • Inventory control
  • Enter inventory into the software system
  • Practice safe material handling techniques
  • Filing of freight bills of lading, equipment packing slips, etc. for inventory reconciliation and audit purposes
  • Filing freight claims for damaged goods
  • Manage receipt, inspecting, and stocking products
  • Determining inventory levels, identifying and disposing of excess and obsolete inventory, and maintaining system inventory accuracy
  • Flexible to work outside normal business hours; weekends could be required for inventory
  • Other duties as assigned
