As a member of our branch warehouse team, you'll be working with a crew that interacts with crews that installs residential solar systems for our customers. POSITION SUMMARY: The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for receiving, picking and shipping inventory through the Inventory Management System. Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Coordinator will assist with properly administering safety procedures and equipment inventory at Headquarters.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED
- 2+ years’ in warehouse function
- Must possess a valid state driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to count accurately and be detailed oriented
- Must be a team player
- Must work well unsupervised and be self-motivated
- Strong computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Forklift driving knowledge and certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Complies with warehouse and inventory standard operating procedures
- Keeps warehouse clean and organized
- Receives stock and non-stock items for the purpose of ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct
- Prepares product for installation via pick ticket
- Operates warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.) for the purpose of moving large and heavy items safely and efficiently
- Monitors inventory by completing cycle counts as required
- Discards trash daily to keep warehouse area clear of trash
- May assist in delivering equipment to job sites
- Perform other duties as assigned
