About The Position

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for modeling the Compassus values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Innovation and for promoting the Compassus philosophy, using the 6 Pillars of Success as the foundation. S/he is responsible for upholding the Code of Ethical Conduct and for promoting positive working relationships within the company, among all departments, and all external stakeholders. Under direction, operates medication and medical supply room containing a variety of medications and medical supplies. S/he orders, receives, stores, and issues supplies and equipment. Additionally, s/he maintains a variety of records on items ordered, received, and issued.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, team members, investors, and external parties.
  • Strong written and verbal communications.
  • Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English.
  • Articulates and embraces integrated healthcare at home philosophy.
  • Regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity are fundamental, along with the ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
  • Visual acuity requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree is a plus.
  • Medical supply management, ordering, and organization experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operates a medical supply room containing a variety of medical and other supplies and equipment.
  • Prepares and maintains records of requisition.
  • Reads, understands, and maintains records of purchase orders and storeroom operations.
  • Plans and efficiently arranges the storage of a variety of supplies and equipment.
  • Maintains perpetual inventory records to ensure adequate stock.
  • Safely lifts and moves heavy and bulky objects.
  • Prepares and packages supply and medication deliveries and arranges for shipment through courier and delivery services.
  • Delivers supplies and medications to patients as needed, ensuring proper handling and return of all related paperwork.
  • Maintains delivery records and compliance with HIPAA laws for patient paperwork.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
