About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and highly organized Warehouse Coordinator to join our team. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to coordinate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and other relevant computer applications.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills to guide and motivate staff.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address issues and find solutions.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and secure working environment.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven 3-5 years’ experience working in a warehouse or similar role.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a warehouse setting.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills for inventory tracking and record-keeping.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, as required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if applicable).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee all activities in the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
  • Maintained accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock checks, reconciling discrepancies, and updating the inventory management system.
  • Ensure the warehouse is organized and clean, following proper safety and security measures.
  • Loading and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and storage to prevent damage or loss.
  • Collaborate with other departments to fulfil orders and meet customer requirements in a timely manner.
  • Implement and enforce standard operating procedures to optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment and machinery in the warehouse, arranging for repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Prepare and generate regular reports on warehouse activities, including inventory levels, productivity, and performance metrics.
