About The Position

The Warehouse Coordinator is a tactical, data-driven execution role responsible for monitoring daily warehouse performance, identifying operational risks, and driving corrective actions to protect inventory accuracy, material flow, and production support. While the Warehouse Supervisor focuses on strategic direction, manpower planning, safety, and accountability, the Warehouse Coordinator owns the tactical layer of warehouse execution — analyzing trends, fixing systemic issues, identifying training gaps, and stabilizing processes and system behavior. This role serves as the primary problem solver and execution analyst within warehouse operations, bridging data, systems, and floor execution to drive continuous improvement and process discipline.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–4 years of experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or supply chain operations
  • Strong experience with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 preferred)
  • Experience analyzing operational data and driving corrective actions

Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily warehouse execution across receiving, put away, picking, kitting, and internal transfers
  • Identify and resolve execution issues impacting inventory accuracy, shortages, and production support
  • Act as first-level escalation point for warehouse transaction errors and system execution failures
  • Coordinate recovery actions to protect material availability and production schedules
  • Analyze daily and weekly warehouse performance data, including: Negative inventory Inventory adjustments Short picks and work exceptions Receiving and put away errors Pick and kit accuracy
  • Identify repeat offenders, systemic failures, and process breakdowns
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, trackers, and reports to highlight trends and risks
  • Present insights and recommendations to Warehouse Leadership and Materials
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and location integrity across all warehouses and buildings
  • Investigate root causes of discrepancies between physical and systematic inventory
  • Resolve: Negative inventory Mislocated inventory Reservation conflicts Failed or incorrect transactions
  • Partner with Inventory Control to support audits, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution
  • Audit warehouse execution against standard operating procedures
  • Identify process gaps and execution breakdowns in: Receiving Put away Picking Kitting Internal transfers
  • Lead corrective action plans and process improvements to stabilize execution
  • Support warehouse layout optimization, slotting improvements, and congestion reduction
  • Identify training gaps through execution errors, audit results, and trend analysis
  • Support development and updates of warehouse SOPs and training materials
  • Partner with Supervisors to coordinate retraining, certification, and skill development
  • Validate training effectiveness through post-training performance metrics
  • Work closely with: Warehouse Supervisors Material Coordinators Inventory Control Production Scheduling IT / Systems
  • Communicate operational risks, systemic issues, and recovery plans
  • Support new process rollouts, system changes, and new product introductions
