About The Position

The Warehouse Coordinator/Expeditor supports warehouse, equipment, and field operations by coordinating the receiving, storage, inventory, and distribution of tools, materials, and equipment. This role is responsible for expediting field requests, loading and unloading freight, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and ensuring the organization, cleanliness, and operational readiness of the shop. The position also provides logistical support to remote project sites, including camp setup and barge unloading, while maintaining effective communication and coordination among project teams to ensure safe, efficient, and timely operations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Five (5) or more years of related mechanical and electrical industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Valid state driver’s license and qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of the Company’s Driving Policy.
  • Ability to pass drug, driving, and background screenings.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical and electrical materials, supplies, tools, and trade names.
  • Knowledge of inventory management processes and systems.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with employees, business partners, and clients using clear verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others in a cooperative and positive manner.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining organization and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work with concentration and precision.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to set and achieve challenging goals; demonstrate persistence and overcome obstacles.
  • Ability to meet productivity standards and strive to increase productivity.
  • Ability to observe safety and security procedures, determine appropriate action beyond guidelines, report potentially unsafe conditions, and to use equipment and materials properly in a safe and efficient manner.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift Operation Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and pick up rental equipment, tools, and materials as needed to support field and warehouse operations.
  • Complete and expedite field requests for equipment, tools, and consumables.
  • Load and unload freight, supplies, and equipment.
  • Inspect and inventory materials and equipment as they are transferred to and from job sites.
  • Clean and perform minor repairs on incoming tools and equipment and return items to inventory.
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and overall condition of the warehouse, shop, and storage areas.
  • Support remote project operations, including barge unloading and assistance with camp setup.
  • Maintain effective communication and coordination among project participants, field crews, and internal teams.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Perform job-related errands as needed.
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
