About The Position

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for directing the daily activities of a warehouse or account, including labor scheduling and proper utilization of space and equipment as directed by the Distribution Manager. This position requires flexibility, reliability, a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, initiative, and a commitment to quality work. The Warehouse Coordinator must maintain high standards, follow directions, communicate effectively, and adhere to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively.
• Ability to build good relationships with the team.
• Knowledge of WMS and Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
• Ability to use handheld RF Scan Device.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to twist, squat, and reach above shoulder level.
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule all distribution services including receiving, storing, shipping, handling returned/damaged goods, maintenance, and administrative activities.
• Understand customer contract requirements and ensure SOP and customer work instructions are followed.
• Direct and oversee job assignments and plan daily labor schedules.
• Motivate and lead the team to achieve stated objectives.
• Assist in training and cross-training of employees.
• Ensure current and accurate inventory control for each account.
• Follow food/safety SOPs and AIB standards.
• Report equipment and facility building/grounds damage and repairs.
• Drive a culture of safety throughout the company.
• Ensure all departments’ equipment and overall appearance is maintained.
• Interface directly with customers and maintain a professional relationship.
• Communicate company information via pre-shift meetings.
• Continuously evaluate ways to improve the accuracy and efficiencies of the department.

Benefits

• Full-time position with a wage of $21.00 + $1.50 Shift Differential per hour.
• 3rd Shift schedule from 6pm to 6am on Fri, Sat & Sun.
