About The Position

Warehouse Clerk Duties and Responsibilities · Driving, loading, and unloading trailers · Driving fabricated material and tools between jobsites · Basic vehicle maintenance · General shop clean up and organization · Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day · Loads delivery vehicle with parcels scheduled for delivery · Picks up parcels along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested · Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor · Assists in general warehouse duties when delivery route is completed · Performs other related duties as assigned · Maintains records of goods that have been ordered and corresponding shipping dates. · Reports major shipping problems to purchasing agent · Inspects shipments to confirm that products received meet specifications · Maintains business relationships with suppliers to ensure their assistance if an unexpected event requires expedited shipping of an order · Performs other related duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications · Ability to drive large trucks · Ability to pull 20’ flatbed trailers · Ability to move materials weighing up to 35 lbs. with or without accommodation · Responsible · Willing to learn · Ability to drive safely · Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps · Ability to plan delivery routes · Ability to maintain basic logs and records · Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision · Ability to remain professional and courteous at all times · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Education and Experience · Valid driver’s license and clean driving record · Forklift experience preferred Benefits Offered: • Medical, Dental, and Vision • 401K with Company Match • STD, LTD, Voluntary Life benefits • Paid Time off Affirmative Action/EEO statement As an Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity Employer, Apollo Mechanical Contractors “Apollo” ensures that no applicant for employment or employee of Apollo is denied equal opportunity because of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity, and sexual orientation), national origin, age, disability (mental or physical), genetic information, veteran status, or any other characteristic any characteristic of his or her relatives, friends, or associates.
