About The Position

Technical Professionals Group, LLC is seeking a motivated, dependable and safe Warehouse Clerk to support and accurately distribute materials in/from the Warehouse Department for a large copper mining company in Kearny, AZ.

Requirements

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to operate equipment (i.e. Forklifts, 2 Ton Trucks).
General computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Software, MIMS).
Basic Mathematical and Reading/Comprehension skills
Basic knowledge of Word and Excel
Must be able to lift 50lbs & work outdoors

Nice To Haves

Prior warehouse experience a plus
Previous shipping/receiving experience preferred
Freight handling experience preferred
Forklift certification preferred
MSHA certification preferred and will be required to obtain

Responsibilities

Receive and issue warehouse material.
Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to other designated areas.
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins.
Open bales, crates and other containers.
Input necessary data into the computer.
Prepare Over Short & Damage (OS&D) and shipping notices.
Conducts periodic physical inventory of stocked items.
Coordinate and Prepare requisitions for materials and supplies.
Count all warehouse stock for inventory control.
Maintain the warehouse and yard, keeping clean and orderly to ensure items are efficiently stored / displayed.
Must be able to lift 50lbs & work outdoors
