The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for performing the primary duties of shipping and receiving clerk while assisting other areas of the department as required. This includes completing and maintaining the required paperwork and files, contacting carriers and assuring parts are shipped in a timely and accurate manner. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous forklift driving experience preferred, with a strong emphasis on adherence to safety standards
  • Understand warehousing and distribution techniques and procedures
  • Ability to use various hand tools
  • Familiarity with United Parcel Service, next-day mail carriers and processing CODs
  • Ability to use basic computer and data entry skills
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working at heights of up to 20 feet using rolling ladders and cherry pickers
  • Physically capable of lifting, holding, and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Must have or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree
  • Previous Warehouse experience
  • Experience driving a forklift

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, select parts and ship products as required for order
  • Track and enter data into the computer
  • Provide telephone support to both internal and external customers in a professional manner
  • Perform daily cycle counts
  • Distribute internal mail
  • Process all receipts to appropriate stock locations including but not limited to; new, repaired and non- inventory
  • Perform closing duties as assigned, when required
  • Drop-off sites for Fed Ex and/or UPS, or similar carriers, as necessary
  • Work overtime as business requires
