Job Summary: The Parts Warehouse Assistant is responsible for assisting with the efficient and accurate operation of the parts warehouse. This role involves receiving, storing, and distributing parts to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders and maintain an organized warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities: Receiving: Inspect incoming parts for damage or defects. Verify quantities and part numbers against purchase orders. Accurately record and input received items into the inventory management system. Storing: Organize and store parts in designated locations according to established procedures. Label and tag parts appropriately for easy identification and retrieval. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Distributing: Pick and pack parts for outgoing orders based on customer requirements. Verify part numbers and quantities before shipping. Prepare shipping documentation, including packing slips and shipping labels. Inventory Management: Assist with periodic inventory counts and adjustments. Help identify and resolve inventory discrepancies. Equipment Maintenance: Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently. Perform basic maintenance on equipment as needed. Other Duties: Complete other tasks as assigned, such as assisting with warehouse projects or cleaning duties.
