Ready to join us? Our Warehouse Clerk - Receiving is responsible for unloading shipments and verifying that contents are correct and that no items are damaged. The Warehouse Clerk must locate inventory into the proper location using the appropriate means – forklift, pallet jack, or by hand as well as keep accurate records, have good problem-solving skills, and good organizational skills.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficient Forklift skills – all company owned models
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of business software
  • Basic math skills
  • Knowledge of scale use
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
  • Attention to detail

  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to research issues and drive to a resolution
  • Keeps records as required
  • Perform cycle counts
  • Attentive to daily upkeep of fork lift equipment. Report any safety hazards or dangers
  • 1-3 years of receiving experience preferred
  • Computer knowledge with Microsoft products, Internet usage, and shipping manifests required
  • Ability to function accurately and safely in a fast paced environment
  • Must be able to complete tasks on short notice as well as ability to change “gears” quickly
  • Have the ability to be trained and certified in HAZMAT shipping procedures
  • Have the ability to be trained in forklift/HiLo usage and safety, as well as other safety programs
  • Ability to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to lift >50 pounds on an infrequent basis (no more than 4-5 hours a day)
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours
  • Ability to walk extensively in the course of an 8 hour day
  • Repetitive bending and twisting up to 90 degrees
  • Lifting and reaching to all levels
  • Ability to climb rolling ladder
  • Correctable vision
  • Ability to withstand exposure to heat and cold

  • Blueprint familiarity
  • Ability to use inspection tools i.e. micrometer, gauges.

Responsibilities

  • Load machines and pallets onto trucks for shipment.
  • Receive all incoming deliveries.
  • Accurately enter inventory into the ERP computer system.
  • Verify inventory received against the Purchase Order.
  • Conduct cycle counts of finished goods and tubing inventory on a regular basis
  • Research PO vs actual delivery issues
  • Locate owner(s) of non-inventory items
  • Sort and distribute deliveries to appropriate department, location or inventory cart
  • Create required storage location for new/over-flow items and work with manufacturing engineer for inventory location in ERP system
  • Follow the inspection process for incoming parts
  • Move incoming raw materials to proper inventory location
  • Process customer returns accordingly: Overstock / Return: Send items back to QC for restocking. Warranty / Issues: Follow the instruction provided by Technical Services
  • Receive calibration lab materials and place on calibration lab cart
  • Communication to customers (internal and external) about problems or issues.
  • Ability to use pallet jack to move, pick, pack, and unload inventory/orders to/from racking including unloading pallets on semi-trucks
  • Have the ability to be trained in forklift/HiLo usage and safety, as well as other safety programs
  • Must have excellent time management skills
  • Work as a team player
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Assist in other departments as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
