As a Warehouse Clerk, you will be responsible for the plant parts warehouse inventory. You will maintain the organization in all warehouse locations. Other duties include updating and creating parts descriptions and stocking levels in SAP, assisting in maintaining the plant parts system physical inventory, receiving all incoming inventory, ensuring material received conforms to plant specifications, performing standard buying duties as needed, and being able to perform senior warehouse clerk duties in the event of senior warehouse clerk absence. You will also receive material deliveries to site and make notifications, SAP entries, tags, and stock material as required. Additionally, you will ensure that material received matches Purchase Order and meets requirements of plant specifications including those found in the Mechanical Integrity element of Process Safety Management and the Risk Management Program. You will maintain the warehouse inventory system in SAP to ensure accuracy, consistency, and current information, and work with other Maintenance Group resources to solve parts problems through alternate sourcing, material selection, and equipment design. You will also work with equipment suppliers and plant personnel to resolve manufacturers' changes in parts design and materials of construction, which may require the use of blueprints, specification sheets, bills of material, and other technical data.
