CACI has an opportunity for a Warehouse Clerk (daytime M-F) in Ashburn, VA, providing logistics support to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) on the Warehouse and Logistics Management Services contract to help sustain and secure the networks used by warfighters. If you’re looking to earn some money while going back to school or just want the ability to flex your work hours during the week, this could be the job for you. Use an automated warehouse management system to support logistics tasks. Receive shipments (check for damage, verify item counts against accompanying documents or system records, and record results). Sort and place materials into designated storage locations. Support inventory management actions (verify inventory counts, perform inventory audits, and adjust the inventory to optimize use of storage space). Support shipping actions (pull equipment from inventory, kit and assemble equipment, and prepare and pack items for shipment). Assist in loading shipments. Operate a forklift and maintain work area. Coordinate actions with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors. Provide regular reporting to management on warehouse issues. Contribute to deliverables and performance metrics where needed. Develop, draft, and edit documents to support client requirements. Interface with personnel (coordinate meetings; maintain logs, records, and files; provide end-user support; and perform general administrative duties). Assist with budgetary, billing, and financial management issues. Prepare required documentation and ensure quality control. Identify, analyze, and report deficiencies. Analyze and assess technical documentation. Develop and implement standard procedures. Ensure necessary safeguards for proprietary data. Confer with customers to resolve logistics problems. Train junior logisticians. Provides supervision, training, and direction to staff.
