Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must possess a current motor vehicle operator’s license and have an acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

Must be able to drive a box truck (non CDL) and 15 passenger van safety. Will perform driving duties as a backup to full-time personnel. Must be able to safely maneuver a forklift/pallet jack.

Pull appropriate job ticket and receiving forms; inspect condition of the material and note any damage
Compare job ticket with shipping papers and packing list for quantities and types of material arriving
Responsible for accuracy of inventory. Performs inventory checks on a daily and weekly basis.
Responsible for accuracy of paperwork completed. Will maintain contact with Account Managers on a daily basis, to ensure accurate material inventory
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment within the warehouse and surrounding areas
Responsible for attaining job and quality assurance standards, and compliance with company personnel and safety policies
Perform other duties as required
