About The Position

The Warehouse Checker position involves supporting warehouse operations by performing quality control functions, including checking the integrity of pallets, identifying errors, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. Requirements

• Proven warehouse experience
• Order checking and quality control experience
• Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
• Adequate knowledge of warehouse data systems
• RF scan gun experience
• Team player with good organizational skills
• Ability to lift or move heavy products

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control functions, including checking pallets for construction integrity.
• Identify miss-picks and misplaced cases.
• Work with selectors to correct errors and rebuild pallets.
• Inspect completed orders for quality using frequency scanners.
• Review individual orders for correct quantities, packing, and accuracy.
• Inspect products for defects and damages.
• Process, package, and ship orders accurately.
• Check, verify, and fill customer invoices.
• Examine outgoing shipments for quality assurance.
• Consult with supervisors regarding quality issues and safety concerns.
• Re-pack materials for outbound export shipments.
• Organize stocks and maintain inventory.
• Contribute ideas to improve warehousing procedures.
• Abide by company safety and hygiene regulations.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized daily.
• Coach selectors on job quality and efficiency.
• Maintain good attendance and safe work practices.
