This position contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by certifying pallet inventory in a fast-paced warehouse operation. In this role you will act as the liaison between frontline and Supervisors. Additionally you will enforce controls and compliance by ensuring the quality of the assets being loaded for our customers. Leading the daily operations with frontline to be productive and efficient.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 + year Warehouse Experience
- Leadership skills - management of 10+ people preferred
- Experience working a flexible schedule including early mornings, late night and/or weekends
Responsibilities
- Keep accurate records of certified loads transported out of the facility for DSD delivery
- Provide feedback to Product Availability Supervisor (PAS) on workflow, loading issues and developmental opportunities of picker and loaders
- Track each load accurately
- Accurately count all pallets
- Maintain pace of pallet configuration
- Ensure that inline adjustments are made and used for all pallets
- Identify priorities and coordinate resources
- Assess and enhance the skill set of pickers
- Recommend process improvements
- Coordinate picker and loader team
