About The Position

As the CDL Freight Driver, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day administrative functions that keep the park running smoothly. Job Summary: This position involves making deliveries throughout the park and hauling recyclable materials as needed. Responsibilities also include filling orders and assisting in the Gardiner Warehouse, maintaining trucks in good working order, staying informed on DOT regulations, and accurately completing all required paperwork. The Details: Position Type: Seasonal Season Dates: Early April 2026 to Early October 2026 Pay: $26.25/hourly Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays) Why Yellowstone National Park? Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Drivers License with air brake endorsement and a DOT physical card
- Must be able to operate a forklift. Training will be provided
- Must be capable of lifting objects of up to 100 pounds
- Must be capable of lifting, bending, and standing throughout an 8-10 hour shift
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of different types or trucks and transmissions is helpful
- Good people skills
- Knowledge of different types of road and weather conditions is helpful
Responsibilities
- Make Warehouse deliveries throughout the Park
