About The Position

The Warehouse Bulk Part Time 1st Shift position at Staples involves working in various roles within the warehouse to ensure efficient operations and delivery of products to customers. Associates will operate material handling equipment, perform general maintenance, and assist in receiving, replenishing, and shipping products while adhering to safety protocols. This role is essential to the success of the Staples Supply Chain team, emphasizing safety and collaboration.

Requirements

• Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment or equivalent training/education.
• Ability to pass a drug screen legally.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 to 100 pounds by hand.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Prior experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, and cherry picker.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to move products within the warehouse.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties inside and outside the facility.
• Confirm accuracy of products during receiving and address discrepancies and damages with colleagues.
• Manually unload trucks and palletize products as needed.
• Organize, stack, and shrink-wrap customer orders on pallets for shipping.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace while performing tasks.
