About The Position

In this position, you will work cooperatively with a team to efficiently create customers’ orders. Safety will be a main priority, requiring work in a clean and safe environment using powered industrial equipment and following safety procedures. The work schedule is Mid-Shift Monday-Thursday and Day Shift Friday.

Requirements

Ability to demonstrate basic product scanner proficiency (i.e., order picking) effectively with minimal errors.
Strong team player and the ability to get along with co-workers.
Good verbal/written communication skills, basic math skills, and ability to read documents in English, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

Read orders to ascertain catalog numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise.
Picking of product will consist of beer, wine, spirits, or kegs.
Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
Pick and count stock items and record data by voice command on a headset/cell phone.
Operate and inspect powered industrial equipment in the warehouse.
Pick orders from full pallets to case picking.
Consistently meet minimum required production, accuracy or quality standards for the work performed.
Pick product from the proper shelving units and place on a pallet so the pallet is stable.
Wrap pallets securely with shrink wrap to avoid shifting loads while on the truck and during the delivery process.
Stack loads properly on a pallet as to ensure the pallet is stable.
Perform other duties as assigned and assist in other areas as needed.
