About The Position

The Warehouse Breakpack Associate at Staples plays a crucial role in the supply chain by accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders. This full-time position involves working in various roles within the warehouse, ensuring safety and efficiency in operations while contributing to the overall success of the Staples Supply Chain Team.

Requirements

• Ability to count and use basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to work assigned schedule and be accountable for assigned tasks.
• Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
• Ability to lift, lower, push, pull or carry product up to a maximum of 70 pounds by hand.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Prior warehouse or applicable experience, including fast-food, stockroom, customer service, or package handling.

Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and timely to meet daily production goals as an Order Picker.
• Scan labels, cut boxes, and restock shelves to prep the work area for the next shift as a Restocker.
• Select product, pull, and pack totes, as well as cut cases of merchandise and/or stock product as a Bulk Selector.
• Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance duties as a Custodian, including cleaning restrooms and removing trash.
• Adhere to safety procedures and ensure safe work practices in all roles.
