About The Position

The Warehouse Worker position involves various responsibilities centered around the efficient operation of a warehouse. This includes preparing and completing product orders for timely delivery, performing inventory controls, and maintaining high standards for quality and audits. The role requires attention to detail in reporting defects or discrepancies and involves receiving, processing, inspecting, and storing materials. Additionally, the worker will be responsible for feeding or removing material to and from machines, gaining proficiency with inventory software, and ensuring a safe and clean working environment. Operating warehouse vehicles and equipment is also a key part of the job, along with the potential need to obtain a forklift license.

Requirements

• Have physical strength, hand-eye coordination, depth perception, and the ability to concentrate on job responsibilities.
• Have familiarity with a warehouse environment and learn modern warehousing practices and methods.
• Have good organizational and time management skills.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be continually attentive and mindful of your surroundings to keep yourself and co-workers safe.
• Be able to understand and communicate information in English.

• Preparing and completing product orders for on-time delivery, pickup, or transfer around a warehouse.
• Performing inventory controls and maintaining high standards for quality and audits.
• Reporting any defects or discrepancies.
• Receiving, processing, inspecting, and storing materials, including picking, packing and scanning orders.
• Feeding or removing material to and from machines.
• Gaining proficiency with inventory software, databases and systems.
• Keeping a safe and clean working environment, optimizing the use of space.
• Operating warehouse vehicles and equipment along with necessary maintenance.
