About The Position

The Warehouse Worker position involves various responsibilities centered around the efficient operation of a warehouse. The role requires preparing and completing product orders for timely delivery, pickup, or transfer within the warehouse. Workers will perform inventory controls, maintain high standards for quality and audits, and report any defects or discrepancies. Additionally, the position includes receiving, processing, inspecting, and storing materials, which involves picking, packing, and scanning orders. Workers will also be responsible for feeding or removing material to and from machines, gaining proficiency with inventory software, databases, and systems, and keeping a safe and clean working environment while optimizing space usage. Operating warehouse vehicles and equipment is also a key part of the job, along with necessary maintenance, and obtaining a forklift license if needed.

Requirements

• Physical strength, hand-eye coordination, depth perception, and the ability to concentrate on job responsibilities.
• Familiarity with a warehouse environment and ability to learn modern warehousing practices and methods.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Continually attentive and mindful of surroundings to ensure safety for oneself and co-workers.
• Ability to understand and communicate information in English.
