About The Position

TITLE: Warehouse Attendant LOCATION: Abilene, TX POSITION REPORTS TO: Terminal Manager SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Some overtime and weekends maybe required COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience, position, and location

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
Have at least 6 months warehouse experience
Must be local (live within 60 miles)
Courteous and professional demeanor
Ability to communicate in English well enough to perform the job duties
Ability to work productively without constant supervision
Stable employment history
Previous experience operating a forklift effectively
Must be able to work overtime, nights, and weekends
Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
Ability to exert 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25-50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10-20 pounds of force constantly
Ability to bend, sit, squat, stand, crawl, walk and reach above shoulder

Nice To Haves

Experience with dehydration and filtering of oil and fuels
Experience working on pumps, motors, and filtering
Experience with inventory control devices such as handheld scanners and electronic order systems

Responsibilities

Execute loading and unloading operations
Inspect and verify products before storing in warehouse
Deliver, stock, fulfill, and count inventory
Keep work area neat and organized
Work with a team to ensure quality, delivery and timeliness of orders are met
Maintain and service company equipment
Assist with will call and warehouse staging
Operate forklift to handle products and warehouse materials
Operate pumps, motors, and electrical devices
Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with established safety procedures and practices
Other tasks and projects as assigned by manager
