Position Summary Warehouse Attendants are essential to ensure smooth material flow throughout our manufacturing operations. They support production and shipping by receiving, storing, moving, and delivering raw materials, components, and finished products in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner. This evergreen requisition represents multiple levels within our materials handling team — including Warehouse Attendant and related classifications — and is designed to attract reliable, safety-focused individuals for future warehouse and logistics openings. We’re looking for detail-oriented, dependable team players who take pride in maintaining accuracy, organization, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication)
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain required
  • Six to Twelve (6-12) months of experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in team environment.
  • Work performed in manufacturing or warehouse environment with exposure to temperature extremes, noise, dust, and moving equipment.
  • Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting to 50 lbs.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as directed.
  • Must be able to work various shifts or overtime as needed to support production

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating forklifts, cranes, or other material handling equipment is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • MATERIAL HANDLING & STORAGE Receive, unload, and check incoming materials, verifying identity, quantity, and condition.
  • Store and organize materials in designated areas, ensuring inventory accuracy and accessibility.
  • Deliver raw materials, parts, and components to production areas as required.
  • Maintain assigned storage areas in a neat, orderly, and safe condition.
  • EQUIPMENT OPERATION Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, aisle stackers, dollies, and other powered or manual material handling equipment.
  • Operate overhead cranes from booth or floor controls to move heavy materials and equipment as required.
  • Perform daily equipment inspection and basic preventative maintenance on assigned vehicles.
  • INVENTORY & DOCUMNTATION Complete and maintain accurate records, including packing slips, bills of lading, shipping/receiving forms, and inventory logs.
  • Assist with cycle counts and other inventory control activities to support accuracy and efficiency.
  • Report shortages, defects, or non-standard material conditions to supervision promptly.
  • SAFETY, HOUSEKEEPING, & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT Follow all safety, environmental, and quality guidelines related to warehouse operations.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with 5S principles.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team-driven problem-solving.
