About the position
The Warehouse Associate position at Dilmar Oil Company is crucial for maintaining the company's leadership in lubricant distribution. The role involves various warehouse tasks, including loading and unloading cargo, operating machinery, and ensuring products are stored and picked correctly. Associates are expected to work independently while following safety protocols and instructions.
Responsibilities
- Follow detailed verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
- Load, secure, and unload cargo
- Operate forklifts, man lifts, and electric pallet jacks
- Receive and stock products in appropriate locations
- Pull/pick products to be loaded onto delivery trucks
- Lift and stack cases, cartons, and pails weighing up to 70lbs repeatedly
- Move drums weighing 400lbs or more using manual hand trucks
- Demonstrate dependability, promptness, and a strong work ethic
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and participate in random drug and alcohol testing
- Maintain a good driving record
Requirements
- High School Diploma preferred
- Forklift operator's license preferred
- Current Driver's License
- 1 year of forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift and stack heavy items
