About The Position
The Warehouse Associate position at AmerCareRoyal, LLC is a full-time role based in Summerville, SC, responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate processing of products and data through the warehouse. This position is integral to the warehouse operations, requiring proficiency in various types of material handling equipment and meticulous recordkeeping. The role is part of a 'skill progression' program, where compensation is directly linked to the mastery of knowledge, skills, and performance. Associates will work closely with their supervisors to track their progress towards advancement and retention of skills. In this role, you will maintain accurate and timely records of material movements, both written and transacted. Key responsibilities include unloading floor-stacked containers onto pallets, preparing pallets of product for transport, and moving pallets from the staging area to the appropriate storage bins. You will also be responsible for picking and preparing customer orders according to a picklist, ensuring all relevant information is followed. Additionally, the role involves repairing, unpacking, repacking, and labeling products, as well as performing assigned facilities maintenance duties in compliance with the facility cleaning schedule. As you progress in your role, you will take on intermediate functions such as printing and reprinting shipping and receiving documents, visually inspecting orders for accuracy and quality standards, and checking inbound deliveries. Advanced functions may include training other associates on processes, performing audits and inspections, investigating inventory discrepancies, and serving as a backup to the Group Lead when necessary. The position requires a commitment to safety and adherence to company standards in all assigned tasks.
