About The Position

The Warehouse Associate at Wayfair plays a crucial role in the distribution team, responsible for unloading and receiving furniture orders, ensuring accurate inventory management, and maintaining high delivery standards. Requirements

• Comfortably lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted and move products weighing 150+ lbs. unassisted or via team lift.
• Ability to work on the warehouse floor for 8 hours a day or more.
• Strong, consistent work ethic.
• Comfort with scanning technology.
• Experience in Distribution or Logistics is a plus.
• Experience working in High Jump is a plus.
• Ability to read and comprehend English for safety.

Responsibilities

• Unload and receive inbound furniture orders, manually moving large, heavy goods.
• Comfortably lift up to 75 pounds unassisted and maneuver products weighing 150+ pounds unassisted or via team lift.
• Use scan technology to document carton level information, including condition, quantity, and warehouse location.
• Monitor order management systems to ensure proper receipt of orders and document any Overage/Shortage/Damage issues.
• Perform regular cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory.
• Pick deliveries from inventory and stage them by truck and stop number.
• Provide input into user tools and recommend improvements based on experience.
• Collaborate effectively with peers and managers.
• Identify efficient ways to complete tasks and ask clarifying questions when needed.
• Read and comprehend English for safety and communication purposes.
• Be cross-trained in other departments and perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
