About The Position

Charlie's Produce is a privately owned wholesale produce company and the largest privately owned produce wholesaler on the West Coast. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our Warehouse Operations team, which is vital to our company. The team is responsible for receiving up to 200 loads per week, unloading trailers, breaking down pallets, and ensuring that items match the receiving paperwork. The role requires working in a refrigerated environment and handling inventory control.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition/subtraction)
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Auditory ability to take orders via a headset
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Ability to take and pass a pre-employment drug test

Nice To Haves

• Previous electric pallet jack experience
• Previous forklift experience

Responsibilities

• Work in a refrigerated environment (36-degrees)
• Lift up to 50lbs frequently
• Utilize moving motorized equipment (electric pallet jack, sit down forklift, stand-up forklift) in a fast-paced environment
• Perform basic arithmetic skills (addition/subtraction)
• Read, write, and speak English fluently
• Take orders via a headset
• Work overtime as needed
• Pass a pre-employment drug test
