The Warehouse Associate ensures that all products are properly received, selected, and delivered to our customers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience working in a 3PL warehouse helpful.
• Warehouse management software experience desired, shipping via UPS/FedEx experience required.
• A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Must be certified or willing to become certified forklift operator.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Performs all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policy and procedures.
• Makes accurate and efficient product order selection and receiving based on branch demands and product handling guidelines.
• Using software for bin location when receiving inventory and when picking orders for shipment.
• Performs counts and verify incoming shipment items/quantities with Logistics Coordinator (LC) and assist LC with putting item labels on shipments if needed.
• Print item labels when required. Replace missing or damaged labels as necessary to ensure items can be identified easily.
• Assist in inventory counting (cycle counts, annually, semi-annually).
• Performs general cleaning duties to achieve warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
• Utilize shipping software to arrange shipments and assist Customer Service Representatives in tracking of orders when needed.
• Follows the Safety program according to established procedures.
• Operates equipment according to safety guidelines in performance of essential job functions.
• Assists management in achieving budgeted goals.
• Notifies management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader.
• Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility.
• Be solutions driven team player with a positive attitude, willing to go the extra mile and think outside the box.
• Other duties as assigned.
