About The Position

The Warehouse Associate at Niagara Bottling is responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of trailer loading and unloading processes. This role involves operating forklifts and managing inventory through a Warehouse Management System (WMS). Responsibilities

  • Check trucks in and out using WMS.
  • Ensure quality and efficiency of trailer loading/unloading.
  • Operate a forklift or work with the Laser Guided Vehicle (LGV) handling system.
  • Receive inbound orders into WMS including various materials and deliveries.
  • Rebuild damaged pallets prior to restock.
  • Process Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA's).
  • Consolidate finished goods storage for maximum capacity.
  • Identify and report quality issues with finished goods and raw materials.
  • Validate new SKUs in WMS for proper LGV storage and handling.
  • Correct LGV alarms and monitor loads.
  • Unload finished goods and raw material deliveries using a forklift.
  • Maintain pallet storage area and stage pallets for LGV pickup.
  • Correct product spills and manually pull pallets from production as needed.
  • Supply production with non-inventory items like glue and labels.
  • Facilitate communication between logistics, production, and sales.
  • Inspect trailers to ensure all loads are completed on time.
  • Provide correct loading documents and truck seals upon leaving the facility.
  • Maintain records and reports for daily shipping and inventory control.
  • Participate in process improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse.
